Location: 1815 N Milwaukee Ave Chicago, IL 60647
Hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00am – 7:00pm, Sunday 10:00am – 6:00pm
Position: Assistant Manager, Full-time (at least 30 hours/week), Non-exempt

Bow & Arrow Collection is seeking a team leader interested in helping establish procedures
at a fun small business start-up and supervising all part-time Sales Associates as well as being the main point-of-contact for customers. The Assistant Manager will work closely with all Company Officers and report directly to the CEO. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing with us!

• Opening and closing including daily store preparation and clean-up
• Regular up-keep of displays, general store cleanliness, and overall atmosphere
• Welcoming customers and offering assistance
• Listening to customers’ needs and giving meaningful suggestions for product selection
• Inspiring customers about our unique product offerings through expert knowledge, product
stories, and an understanding of our core business
• Maintaining a professional cheerful attitude and adhering to the code of conduct
• Registration and selling of workshops and special events
• Processing purchases and returns in LightSpeed POS system
• Responding to customer service inquiries in person and emails
• Providing feedback on customer requests, product reception, and store environment
• Receiving and restocking inventory
• Supervising all Sales Associates
• Creating the monthly work schedule for all Sales Associates
• Assisting in training and mentoring of new Sales Associates
• Special projects as requested by the Company Officers
• Physical requirements of heavy lifting up to 30lbs; bending, sitting, and standing for prolonged
periods of time

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in retail or service related industry
• Passion for paper goods and gifting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, which will require night and weekend shifts
• Ability to prioritize tasks with an attention to detail while ensuring a customer first focus
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Creative self-starter with ability to work alone
